This Swiss artist devoted his career to taking apart everyday scenes, separating each element by color, size, or shape, and putting them back together in perfectly symmetrical compositions. His project “The Art of Clean-Up” takes ordinary situations—even a bowl of alphabet soup—and turns them into visual exercises in almost mathematical precision.
He also applied his method to famous works of art, rearranging their elements as if the original chaos were merely a rough draft. The result blends humor with a visual satisfaction that’s hard to explain: seeing everything, finally, in its place.
