A woman on a bus offered her a newborn kitten whose mother had died. Paz Medina, from Maipú, did not hesitate.
That is how Minimishi came into her life, and since then she has grown up surrounded by large dogs. She learned to walk with a harness, growl at other cats as if she were not one of them, and sleep literally on top of her canine companions. At six months old, she had an accident that nearly cost her her life: she jumped to play with a German shepherd, was left unconscious on a tree after being bitten, and lost a tooth during the rescue. Today, that visible fang is part of her identity.
An ethologist consulted about her case explains that there is no scientific evidence of ‘canine cats,’ but acknowledges that some felines genuinely enjoy going out with their owners. Unaware of science, Minimishi continues to stroll through her Maipú neighborhood, living with three dogs and proving that love knows no species.
