An Argentine walked straight into the lion’s den by making his way through a sea of Mexican fans wearing the albiceleste jersey, and what he got was a barrage of whistles and boos that left no room for doubt.
For many, the reaction was legitimate: “It’s the World Cup, everyone stands up for their own, and that’s how football is lived”. For others, a line was crossed: “Booing a person because of their jersey isn’t passion, it’s classlessness”.

The same fans also whistled at the entrance of the flags of Argentina and the United States at the World Cup. Is it part of the game or did they go too far? 👇
