Gene Snitsky was one of the most feared WWE villains in the 2000s.
Now, the former wrestler resurfaced on social media with such a long, unkempt beard that it looks like it came straight out of a Guinness World Records challenge.
Fans, accustomed to seeing him with a clean-shaven face and an intimidating attitude in the ring, couldn’t believe the change: “This guy is trying to break the world record for the longest beard”.
The comments soon started pouring in: some say he looks like a retired Viking, while others say he prepared to hibernate.
The truth is that Snitsky is still giving people something to talk about, even if it’s no longer with a submission hold.
