This little magpie was left alone, but a dog decided to care for her like her own daughter

Molly fell from the nest without feathers to fly, alone in a park in Queensland, Australia.

Juliette Wells and her partner picked her up, thinking they would care for her for a few days. But Peggy, their Staffordshire dog, began looking at her differently. Days later, despite never having had puppies, her body began producing milk. She adopted her as her own.

Today they run together, sunbathe, cuddle up, and Molly barks, imitating her mother with a precision that melts anyone’s heart. They even survived a forced separation by Australian authorities, which generated more than 96 thousand signatures asking for them to be reunited. They were together again, and there they remain: sleeping close by, looking for each other, choosing each other every day. The family shares everything on @peggyandmolly, and every video repeats the same thing — that love does not ask what species you are.
