Chris Francisco is 32 years old, has autism, and no steady job. But for more than two years, he saved 8 cents under his bed in the Philippines, without fail, without skipping a single day. 💛
When he opened that hiding place, he had saved about 230 dollars. With all that money he bought 160 boxes of crayons and handed them out to children from low-income families who had never had one. The teacher who saw him arrive with the packages under his arm did not know how to describe him better: “a special child with a special heart”.
Chris did not seek recognition or cameras. He only knew that those children needed colors and that he could give them to them if he waited long enough. Sometimes the greatest generosity does not come from those who have the most, but from those who choose to give even when they have almost nothing. 🖍️❤️
