London’s food scene in the United Kingdom has recently been surprised by a culinary proposal that breaks with all fast-food traditions.
A recording shared by social media user Oliviaa Ldn shows an establishment in the British capital that has replaced the classic lamb or chicken meat with pieces of octopus skewered on a rotating spit.
The large cylinder made entirely of this cephalopod’s tentacles rotates in front of the fire all day to be served with French fries. While some diners celebrate the innovation, others question the texture the animal may acquire after so many hours of slow cooking.
