This African spurred tortoise went viral thanks to a collection of expressions that seem too perfect to be a coincidence. In some photos “she smiles”, in others she sticks out her tongue, and in several she looks straight at the camera as if she knew exactly what she was doing.
Her family created an Instagram account for her where they share her walks, moments of rest, and family outings. And from what they show, it’s pretty clear who the favorite in the house is.
Her owners even joke by writing as if she herself were speaking: “All I have to do is eat and sleep every day”.
With each post, the tortoise gained followers who don’t just look forward to seeing her, but also wonder what her next expression will be.
In the end, she doesn’t need to do much to get attention: all she has to do is look at the camera and let her expression do the rest.
