“Does anyone have her dermatologist’s number? Because this is starting to get suspicious 😂”. Anne Hathaway is 43 years old and has spent more than two decades in front of the cameras, but comparing her first red carpets with today’s is enough to understand why so many people insist that she seems not to age.
We first got to know her worldwide when she was just 18 thanks to The Princess Diaries. Since then came films such as The Devil Wears Prada, Les Misérables, and Interstellar, as well as hundreds of public appearances that make it possible to follow, practically year by year, how her face has changed.
And yes, obviously 25 years have passed. Anne has matured and has herself spoken naturally about getting older, but her appearance continues to provoke the same kind of comments every time she appears on a red carpet: “How does she still look the same?”, “This woman doesn’t age” or “I need to know her secret”.
She, by contrast, seems far less concerned with beating the calendar. She has said that she prefers talking about “growing” rather than “aging”, because she considers getting older part of living.
Perhaps time does pass for Anne Hathaway. The problem is that, seeing her at 18 and now at 43, it’s quite difficult to figure out where it passed 😂.
