What began as a quest for a “perfect” body ended in a nightmare for Angela Pedrosa, a 26-year-old Brazilian mother from Rio de Janeiro.
The woman underwent a Brazilian butt lift with silicone injections, but the procedure went terribly wrong and caused severe infections and huge open wounds on her buttocks.
Doctors had to remove rotten tissue to save her life, and she spent more than two months hospitalized. Although she survived, she was left with deep scars and constant pain after the botched cosmetic surgery.
