Mary Ellen Eron is an 85-year-old woman who carried out her cleaning duties at an AMC company establishment in the city of Maryville, in Tennessee.
A customer named Brooklyn Green filmed the employee while she was carrying bags of trash and pushing a heavy cleaning cart, managing to rack up more than 13 million views online. To help with the older woman’s retirement, who has 45 years of work experience in movie theaters, the young woman launched a digital campaign through the GoFundMe platform.
The initiative received contributions from 7500 users, raising the sum of 146,317 dollars for her retirement.
