The highest price drew attention because it is close to the price of a 2026 Ford Mustang EcoBoost Fastback, a car whose starting price in the United States is approximately $32,995, just $25 more than a $32,970 ticket. Although prices dropped in the days leading up to the match, the figures are still considered scandalous by many fans who dreamed of seeing the final live.
Availability changed after FIFA released around 1,200 additional tickets. The elimination of the United States, Mexico, and Canada also had an impact, reducing some of the local interest. Even so, the best seats remain above $30,000.
