She turned 60 and didn’t ask for jewelry, trips, or big gifts.
She only wanted one thing: to take a photograph again with her two children, 34 years after the first one. That picture was from 1985, when the children were still little and fit in her arms. In 2019, now grown-ups, all three stood in front of the camera again to recreate that moment almost perfectly.
And there was one detail that made it even more special: she wore exactly the same dress and necklace she had worn back then. They even recreated the T-shirt one of the children was wearing, so the new photo would look as much like the original as possible.
The result is two images taken more than three decades apart. The children grew up, their faces changed, and time left its mark on every expression, but all three are still exactly where they were: together.
