Paddy Pimblett doesn’t let anything slide. When Ilia Topuria fell by technical TKO to Justin Gaethje at UFC White House, his corner threw in the towel after the fourth round. Pimblett saw the perfect opportunity for the trolling of a lifetime.

On July 20, the Brit posted on Instagram a photo hugging the red stool where Topuria surrendered, purchased at the UFC Collectibles auction for $13,700. The caption left no doubt: “Collector’s item”

But the celebration was short-lived. A collector identified as Jessica came forward to debunk him, receipt in hand, before content creator Ahmad Dakka: she was the one who bought the stool.
All so Pimblett couldn’t keep it. The rivalry between the two fighters dates back to 2022, at a hotel in London, and now it has added a chapter worthy of a comedy.
