Ronny Jackson was the doctor to three different presidents: Bush, Obama, and Trump. When asked which of the three was in better health, his answer left no doubt, according to Trump.
The 79-year-old president repeated the anecdote during a Hanukkah reception at the White House on December 16, quoting Jackson: “Trump was, by far, the healthiest”. It is not the first time he has told it — he had already mentioned it at a gala in Mar-a-Lago in November 2024, using almost the same words.
The curious thing is that Jackson was never Biden’s doctor during his presidency, although he did treat him as vice president. Trump, who underwent magnetic resonance imaging scans at Walter Reed in October and was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency in July, is about to become the oldest sitting president in the history of the United States.
