The President of the United States declared that public schools telling a child they are “trapped in the wrong body” are committing child abuse. The statement did not remain merely a speech: his administration has already taken federal action against school districts accused of withholding information about their children’s gender identity from parents.
For some, it is a necessary defense of parents’ right to know what is happening with their children in the classroom. For others, it is a way of stigmatizing minors who already face enough pressure. 🤔
