Amanda Seyfried said no.
The 40-year-old actress, an Oscar nominee known for Mamma Mia! and Mean Girls, said at the Hamptons International Film Festival, during a conversation with Alec Baldwin, that she turned down a series where she would have to have sex all the time.

She didn’t reveal which one it was or who was producing it. She only made her boundary clear: “I don’t want to do it. It makes me uncomfortable. I don’t feel like it right now”.

Her stance wasn’t always like that. She explained that early in her career, kissing someone handsome seemed fun and insignificant to her, and she even felt pressured to accept uncomfortable scenes for fear of upsetting others and losing work. Today, she says, certain demands of the job no longer feel the same to her, and she credits motherhood with making her less accommodating and more willing to say no.

She didn’t close the door entirely: perhaps, if the project came up again, she would be in a different place. But for now, she’s clear that she doesn’t want to deal with being naked in front of a stranger.
