Some airplane seats aren’t designed for everyone. And these two are proof.
Eddie Hall and Brian Shaw, World’s Strongest Man champions, flew from London to Scotland, and someone at the airline thought to seat them together in economy class. Hall won the title in 2017. Shaw won it four times: 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2016. Shaw is about 2,03 meters tall and weighs around 190 kilos, and Hall, who is 1,90 meters tall, isn’t far behind.

Hall posted the photo on Instagram: Shaw’s shoulder pressed against the fuselage, both of their bodies blocking the headrests, and part of Hall’s body spilling into the aisle. According to sources, the two of them weigh around 360 kilos combined. In another photo, Shaw appears seated next to a passenger, in equally cramped conditions, and the caption said: “Seems like I fit perfectly in this seat”. She, at least, agreed to pose with a smile. Would you have asked to change seats in her place?
