He had bought a gold 2001 Ford F-250, but after its tailgate was replaced, it ended up with a silver panel that clashed with the rest. He put up with it until, while leaving a Verizon store, he saw another F-250 drive by with exactly the opposite problem: entirely silver, with a gold tailgate.
He didn’t think twice and set off after the driver. He explained the situation to the stranger, and they both decided to solve it right there, in the parking lot of a nearby supermarket.
No paperwork, no price negotiations, no app involved. Just two pairs of hands, two wrenches, and two pickup trucks that, after that chance encounter, finally ended up the color they should always have been. 😭

“The craziest thing that’s happened to me today.
I recently bought this 2001 F 250. It’s gold, but the truck’s previous owner replaced the tailgate, so the paint didn’t match.
Today, as I was leaving Verizon, a silver F250 drove by and… it had a gold tailgate.
