Jade Phoenix, a delivery driver from Los Angeles, discovered a magic formula for increasing her tips on Uber Eats, and it has nothing to do with speed or service quality. Her secret, which she shared on Threads, is to include her feet in the confirmation photos she sends to customers.
The images show bags of food next to doors, with her feet in Birkenstock sandals and white-painted toenails discreetly appearing at the bottom of the frame.
“I’ve seen my tips increase a lot”, Phoenix said, and other delivery drivers confirmed that the strategy worked for them too, with tips reaching nearly 50 dollars per delivery.
Phoenix joked that she has already earned enough to “buy a rotisserie chicken” and that she now aspires to “buy a pedicure”, “I knew my feet were pretty, but I didn’t know HOW pretty”, she wrote.
