Celebrities are real people just like you or me, but sometimes we forget that when we see them looking completely perfect in social media photos.
However, thanks to advances in image quality, we can now see many more details, like pores, pimples… or body hair.
In fact, that’s exactly what happened with a portrait of Sabrina Carpenter at the Met Gala. In it, the singer appears raising one arm and showing her armpit… and that’s when fans zoomed in.
The thing is, the image that started circulating the most on social media was reportedly altered with AI to make that hair look much more pronounced than it really was. In other words, the internet didn’t just zoom in: it also gave the whole thing some extra production.
And that’s where things get weird, because Sabrina ended up trending for something as normal as having a real body… but also because of a photo that, apparently, didn’t even show the detail as it really was.
