She insists it was all a tribute, with no commercial purposes… but is that enough to avoid FIFA? 👀 Rebeca Maiellano never imagined that a show at an airport would put her on FIFA’s radar.

It all happened on June 8 at Mexico City International Airport, during a tourist event called FanPort.

ShakiBecca, the Venezuelan impersonator who years ago even earned the public affection of Shakira herself, took the stage and sang ‘Dai Dai,’ the official song of the 2026 World Cup that Shakira recorded with Burna Boy. Behind her, screens displayed logos and graphic material from the tournament. 🌍⚽

FIFA is known for its zero tolerance toward the commercial use of its brands, and that was enough to set off media alarm bells. For now, there is no confirmed lawsuit or sanction: everything remains under review.

But the question is already making the rounds on social media: can an artistic tribute clash head-on with one of the most powerful sports organizations on the planet?
