VIDEO | 91-year-old woman fell after being pushed by a monkey and died the next day from her injuries

Najamunnisa Begum was 91 years old when a monkey attacked her on September 19 of this year.

In Koppal, in the Indian state of Karnataka, a security camera recorded the animal hitting her in the courtyard of her home. Begum fell backward and hit her head on the ground; her injuries were serious. When her daughter came out to help her, the animal threatened her as well.

A 91-year-old woman died after being attacked and pushed by a monkey in B.T. Patil Nagar, Koppal.

The woman was taken to a private hospital and died the next day from a head injury. The family has not issued any statement, but so far it is known that the woman was the wife of a famous local writer, M. S. Savadatti.
