A video barely two minutes long sparked outrage on social media after showing Gtwist, a 13-year-old streamer, apparently being assaulted during a livestream.
In the footage, a man enters the room while the minor is sitting in front of his computer. The argument quickly escalates, and the adult ends up grabbing him by the neck and throwing him to the floor, while the teenager begins to cry.
Afterward, the man leaves and the minor tries to restore the situation: he picks up the chair, sits down again, and tries to continue the livestream, although he ends up visibly affected.
The video was removed from Kick, and the platform eventually permanently suspended the minor’s account, considering that the livestream showed violence and a minor.
Gtwist, for his part, reappeared on social media claiming that he was fine and wanted to stream again.
But then came the twist that turned the case into a mystery.
Although the adult was initially identified as his father, users on X began sharing screenshots of old TikTok posts and photographs in which he supposedly appears alongside the minor. Based on those images, some claim that he was actually his brother.
An even stranger version also emerged: that the two had previously insisted that they did not know each other.
None of this has been officially confirmed. Nor is there, so far, a police report or statement from the authorities that would make it possible to publicly determine what happened behind the scenes.
That is why, while part of the internet still considers it to have been a real assault against a minor, other users began wondering whether everything could have been staged to generate views, donations, and attention.
And that is the real mystery: what really happened in that room?
For now, the video shows an apparently violent scene, but the new images circulating on social media have raised more questions than they have managed to answer.
