On his tenth birthday, a boy with Down syndrome did something no one had planned. He called each of his friends, one by one, to join him in cutting the cake. No spotlight, no keeping the moment to himself. He wanted everyone to have a place by his side, as if he knew that the most beautiful photos are the ones that are shared.

His sister, who uploaded the video under the username @madualvesc_, said that every year he teaches her something new about love and sensitivity. And this time the lesson came wrapped in frosting and little candles: that there are gestures worth more than any gift, and that there are hearts that at 10 years old have already understood what many adults take a lifetime to learn.
