Eduardo Zambrano walked for hours through the streets of Ecuador searching for something that money almost never manages to provide in time: his daughter’s medicine.
The girl is in delicate health, battling a cancer that offers no respite, and each dose of her treatment depends on someone outside managing to work the miracle of finding and paying for it.
Eduardo had managed to get them. He was returning with the medicines in his hands when several thieves intercepted him on the way and took everything from him: the money he had left, the medications that had cost him so much to gather, even the shoes he was wearing.
They left him standing in the street, with nothing, facing the same urgency as before but without any means of resolving it.
Now Eduardo does not know how to obtain again what he had already managed to get once. His daughter is still waiting for treatment, and all he can do is ask for help to replace what strangers took from him in a matter of minutes.
