Petong could barely stand.
His legs were deformed and his skin was covered in an infection that made him look almost unrecognizable. No one around him in Indonesia lifted a finger to help him. Help came from far away: a group of people connected through the internet, who did not even live in his country, saw his story and decided to act. They contacted @Rumahkucingifan, a local shelter, and funded his rescue.
They sterilized him, removed his fleas, and treated his skin until it healed completely. Today Petong lives at that shelter alongside other cats with disabilities similar to his, waiting for the family that will finally love him as he deserves.
