Until then, nothing new. But when the officers intercepted him, he pulled out his imaginary cellphone: he took his debit card, held it to his ear, and announced very seriously that he would call “his lawyer”. The gesture, recorded on video, became a feast of laughter on social media. 😂
Afterward, once he was more sober (or at least more eager to talk), the young man recorded a second video in which he confessed that, yes, he was very drunk, and clarified an important detail: he was not driving. A relative was behind the wheel, and that person had also been drinking. As if to say, “don’t worry, the drunk driver is someone else”. 🍻
