The great danger of live broadcasts is that they show people’s true nature, without filters or second takes. A pastor who has become public enemy number one learned this the hard way.
While he was streaming for his followers, a waitress kindly approached to bring him a glass of water. It was at that moment that the man’s attitude changed completely. With obvious contempt and arrogance, the pastor scolded her in front of the camera:
“This is a child-size, a free sample. I’m an adult, bring me an adult size”.
Faced with the worker’s apologies, he continued attacking her, claiming that “she was ruining his whole video” and that a lot of people were watching.
What the man didn’t count on was the power of going live. When he realized that his arrogant attitude had been recorded, he ordered his cameraman to “delete that part”.
When the cameraman warned him that it was impossible because they were broadcasting live, the pastor made a 180-degree turn that ended up infuriating the audience.
