Britney Spears is once again at the center of controversy after the full video of her DUI arrest, which occurred on March 4, 2026, in Ventura County, California, was released.

In the footage, the singer was stopped after being reported for erratic driving on Highway 101 and, although she insisted that she was not drunk and that she could drive back home, she ended up handcuffed after performing sobriety tests.

According to police reports, her alcohol tests registered 0.05 and 0.06, below the legal limit, but an expert determined possible influence of substances. In May, Spears accepted a plea deal and pleaded guilty to reckless driving related to alcohol and drugs.
