A citizen identified by the internet username @mxrgan.chpz and named Morgan decided to enter the turbulent waters of the town of Annecy in France. The reason for his risky maneuver was to rescue a small wild bird that was trapped and in imminent danger due to the force of the river’s current.
The rescuer used a small plastic box to secure the duckling, managing to get it out of the canal before conditions worsened and preventing a tragic outcome.
