A shocking vehicle accident occurred at the Hanam Sports Center in South Korea when a car ended up submerged in the facility’s indoor pool.

The driver, a 74-year-old woman whose identity was withheld, made an erroneous maneuver while reversing in the parking lot, hitting another car before violently accelerating forward. The vehicle went over an edge and smashed through a glass window, falling almost vertically into the water where about 10 people were swimming.

The athletes helped the elderly woman, and an instructor performed resuscitation on her. She and a female swimmer in her 50s ended up in the hospital due to chest pain and minor cuts caused by the shattered glass.
