The calm in Spokane County, Washington, was shattered when 56-year-old Wendy A. Clemente was involved in a series of alarming incidents.
According to the Sheriff’s Office report, she drove her car onto the sidewalk to chase and attempt to run over a child riding a bicycle. Just 25 minutes later, security cameras captured Clemente trying to force her way into a home about a kilometer away.
Preliminary reports suggest Clemente was under the influence of alcohol. Although she initially denied consuming any substances, she later admitted to drinking after showing clear signs of impairment. She was arrested on charges of attempted assault, DUI, and trespassing.
