Liz Barraza was 29 years old and was arranging items for a garage sale when someone approached her home in Tomball, Texas, and shot her four times at close range. It was the morning of January 25, 2019, minutes after her husband Sergio left for work. She died the following day.
Her own doorbell camera recorded the entire attack. Another camera, belonging to a neighbor, captured a dark Nissan Frontier pickup truck arriving at and fleeing the scene. The attacker did not steal anything, used a revolver to avoid leaving shell casings, and wore what appeared to be a disguise: boots and possibly a wig. None of this was accidental. Harris County police have pointed to Sergio as a suspect, although he denies involvement, and there is no evidence of infidelity or marital conflicts. It was also learned that Liz had a life insurance policy worth 500.000 dollars that was never collected. Today, they are offering a 50.000-dollar reward, but the clearest video of a crime in existence has not been enough to find the person responsible.
