Darren Watkins Jr., better known as IShowSpeed, went to the stadium in Atlanta on July 7, 2026 wearing an Egypt jersey. There he celebrated every Egyptian goal and even the penalty Messi missed right in the Round of 16 match against Argentina.

What he did not anticipate was the comeback. Argentina turned the score around to 3-2 and a group of fans immediately surrounded him, amid insults, chants, and even gestures that are already being investigated by FIFA over a previous racist incident that occurred days earlier in the match against Cape Verde in Miami.

The cameras show him in silence, staring fixedly at his own livestream while security guards escort him out through the crowd. A video also went viral on social media in which he claims to have spat in front of two Argentine fans before leaving, something that no journalistic source has been able to confirm yet. What is certain is that the scene once again put the focus on how he is treated every time he sets foot in a stadium with La Albiceleste nearby. 😳⚽
