According to the video’s creator himself, the idea was to recreate a “shark bait” scene, although no obvious safety equipment or controlled protective conditions can be seen in the recording.
The material went viral, racking up millions of views and generating a wave of criticism from users who questioned the safety of the act and the influencer’s responsibility in exposing another person to a dangerous environment.
