Cameron Malstrom just wanted to film the sunset at Mission Beach, California, but ended up capturing an epic moment.
By the bay, two men were arguing and decided to settle the dispute with their fists. But, within seconds, their dogs—a Pit Bull and a German Shepherd—saw their owners in trouble and decided to lend them a paw in the fight. Of course, they reenacted the confrontation in their own way, leashes included.
The owners completely forgot about their own argument and tried to separate the animals. A third man even had to step in to control the situation before the scene got out of hand.
No one knows what started the fight between the two men, but that did not stop Instagram from filling up with theories. “The Pit Bull saw his owner throwing punches and understood the mission”, someone wrote. Another commented that the man in blue “took the German Shepherd’s back as if he knew jiu-jitsu, but maybe he goes to the wrong gym”.
Mission Beach is one of San Diego’s most photographed spots, and now it also has its own boxing round with a four-legged audience.
Perhaps the real lesson is quite simple: if you are going to lose your temper in front of your dog, remember that your four-legged companion might take the conflict much more seriously than you do.
