A young Swedish man showed what it was like to spend 4 weeks at a Chinese weight-loss camp, with a routine far more demanding than he expected. André Helgesen had already been losing weight before the trip and said he went from more than 133 kilos to around 83 throughout his entire process.

The Jianfeidaren camp in Shenzhen had highly structured days. He trained 3 times a day, 6 days a week, with cardio in the morning, weights in the afternoon, and aerobic classes later on. He also had to fast from 5 in the afternoon until 8 in the morning.
His diet was around 1,300 calories a day, and the second part of the program felt especially tough. The video shows routines, sweat, repeated exercises, and a schedule where even rest was planned. Upon returning, he said he managed to stay stable.
