A video of Megan Fox talking about her favorite movies ended up sparking a completely different conversation from the one she probably expected.
The actress appeared in a clip posted by Letterboxd, and many users said that they had trouble recognizing her. Her face, hair, and figure were immediately compared with photos from years earlier, prompting all kinds of comments.
“Is it really her?”, one person asked. Others were much harsher and began questioning her hair and weight, and even speculating about alleged cosmetic surgeries, although the video alone does not make it possible to determine what accounts for her appearance.
But there is important context.
Megan became a mother again on March 27, 2025, when Saga Blade was born, her first daughter with Machine Gun Kelly and her fourth child overall.
Months later, the actress herself spoke publicly about how she was experiencing postpartum life. During an appearance in October 2025, she admitted to suffering from “brain fog” and said she had barely slept for seven months because of her new motherhood.
That is why comparisons between Megan’s current appearance and photos taken years ago leave out an important factor: her body has also recently gone through pregnancy and childbirth.
That has not stopped social media from debating her appearance again. Some users think she looks too different; others question the obsession with constantly comparing her current face and body with those of the young woman who appeared in Transformers almost two decades ago.
Megan had already made her position clear on the expectations placed on women while she was pregnant:
“Women don’t have an expiration date. Don’t let anyone take your power away”.
At 40, and after four pregnancies, Megan is once again at the center of a discussion that has followed her for much of her career: how much a woman can physically change before the internet starts demanding explanations.
