In a community in the State of Mexico, a group of neighbors caught a young man stealing from a home and decided to hold him until the authorities arrived. Nothing out of the ordinary, until word spread and something completely changed the atmosphere: the boy’s mother was on her way.
When she arrived, there were no hugs or tears of comfort. She looked at him, recognized him as her son, and, in front of everyone present, scolded him without holding back. 😳 The young man, still tied up, could only apologize over and over, head bowed, like any kid in front of his mother after breaking something important.
She did not defend him. On the contrary, she promised to cooperate so that justice could take its course and her son would be held legally accountable for what he had done.
