Peng Qinglin, 31, was in the middle of a delivery when he saw something that made him slam on the brakes: a woman fighting for her life in the Qiantang River, in eastern China. Without thinking twice, he climbed over the railing of a 40-foot bridge and jumped into the water. 😱
He swam to her, held her up, and guided her to a fixed ladder where they both waited for help. Police and rescue boats arrived minutes later and completed the operation in just 10 minutes. The woman was hospitalized and was discharged a few days later, safe and sound. 🙏
