Rocket is a 6-year-old blind kitten who felt snow for the first time in 2026. In the arms of one of his rescuers, Rocket lifted a little paw among the snowflakes to feel them and play with them like any other kitten.
Rocket currently lives at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary while waiting for a family. He has cerebellar hypoplasia and wobbles when he moves, but he is a curious explorer. According to the shelter, the furry little guy gets along well with other cats, loves head scratches, and enjoys company.
Clearly, this special little one deserves a chance at many more firsts ❤️
