Sandra Bullock starred in one of the funniest moments of a recent interview after seriously answering a question that, according to Amy Poehler, had no malicious intent.
During her appearance on the podcast Good Hang, the actress was talking about her diet when Poehler asked her: “Protein, how do you take yours? How do you get it?”.
Bullock leaned toward the microphone and replied in a dry, sensual tone: “Thick”.
The phrase prompted them both to start laughing, since it could be interpreted as a double entendre about the size of a man’s penis. The scene went viral precisely because of how naturally Sandra delivered the response.
“I prepared the question for you—you said, ‘Protein, how do you take yours?’”, Bullock joked.
Poehler, laughing, replied that she wasn’t even thinking about anything sexual and accused her guest of having “a dirty mind”.
Finally, Bullock clarified that she was referring to thick Greek yogurt, one of the foods she eats to incorporate protein. The moment happened while both were promoting Practical Magic 2, the highly anticipated sequel starring Bullock and Nicole Kidman.
