Shaquille O’Neal, 54, just wanted to show off his workout, but social media ended up focusing on a very different part of his body.
The NBA legend posted a video on TikTok showing him shirtless, doing strength exercises in front of a gym machine.
“Here I go, Arnold Shaqanager”, he wrote, playing on Arnold Schwarzenegger’s name.
However, several users began noticing a conspicuous shape beneath his shorts, which some interpreted as an outline of his genitals.
“I mean, we all knew, but…”, one person commented. Another reacted in disbelief: “Is that you when you’re soft?”.
The jokes soon started multiplying, though other viewers questioned those conclusions.
“That’s air, honey”, one user wrote. Another criticized some people for being unable to tell the difference between a real outline and a simple fold in the fabric.
Some even pointed out that the former basketball player was being sexualized over an image that could have a much simpler explanation.
And so, what began as a display of strength turned into an unexpected discussion about his anatomy.
