“I am not a victim of domestic violence and I never have been”, wrote Morgan, the TikToker also known as Morginia, after thousands of users accused her boyfriend Mike Toks of manipulating her.
But Florida police documents tell a different sequence of events. A neighbor called emergency services, saying they heard screams and blows at the couple’s home. When officers arrived, they found Mike with visible scratches on his neck. He denied that his girlfriend had assaulted him. Both ended up being arrested: Mike faces a charge of violently resisting an officer, and Morgan faces that same charge plus an additional one for assaulting an officer.
The records do not include domestic violence charges between them. Days later, a video of the scuffle with police went viral, and the couple released a joint statement asking for calm without going into details about the legal proceedings they still face.
