Return the cart to the corral. It’s free, takes ten seconds, and requires no special talent. And yet, the parking lot of any supermarket in the world looks like a graveyard of carts abandoned half a meter from their destination. 🛒

The solution one supermarket found sounds straight out of a comedy sketch. Hire a Russian bouncer to handle the matter. Not an app, not a coin system, not a sign with a sad face. A human being, standing there, with all the energy of Eastern Europe, dedicated exclusively to making people return the cart where it belongs. And apparently, it worked immediately. Nobody argues with a Russian bouncer.

The internet, of course, exploded. Because deep down we all know that returning the cart is the ultimate test of civic ethics. There’s no police officer forcing you, no real consequence if you leave it lying around. Just your conscience. And judging by the world’s parking lots, conscience usually loses. 😅
