Rory Mollo, a 22-year-old influencer from Florida, was recovering from a hangover when she ordered food from Panera through DoorDash. But when the delivery driver arrived, instead of meeting him at the door, she asked him to come all the way into her bedroom.

Mollo recorded the situation and posted the video on TikTok with the text: “So hungover I just had my DoorDasher bring my Panera in my bedroom”. In the footage, she appears lying in bed with an ice pack on her head, while the worker enters with the order and she tells him to leave it on the nightstand.

The delivery driver looks visibly uncomfortable as he waits beside the bed for Mollo to finish confirming the delivery. Then he quickly leaves the room while she thanks him and says “Thank you”. The video has garnered over 4,8 million views and sparked a strong reaction among users.

“Don’t you see this man as a human being?”, one person questioned. “This is so disrespectful. He’s not your servant”, another wrote. A third user summed up their frustration with a comparison: “This isn’t a hotel; you don’t have room service”.

Mollo later acknowledged in comments that were deleted that the delivery driver was “very shy” and explained that she had been “yelling from her room” to tell him where she was. She also faced criticism for recording and posting the moment, especially since the worker seemed uncomfortable in front of the camera.
The episode ended up sparking a discussion that went beyond a simple food delivery: while some users felt that asking the delivery driver to enter the house was inappropriate and potentially unsafe behavior, others defended the worker and pointed out that he had chosen to come in and deliver the order.
