A couple relaxing by the pool at the Aquila Private Game Reserve safari ended up starring in a scene that was as funny as it was unexpected. While both were checking their phones, a baboon quietly approached and began helping itself to the appetizer tray they had beside them.
The footage shows the animal eating completely calmly for several seconds while the tourists remained distracted. A safari worker finally stepped in to scare it away, but by then the baboon had already enjoyed a free buffet.
The video went viral because it sums up in just a few seconds a scene that is hard to forget. Being surrounded by wildlife and missing the encounter because you were looking at your phone.
