A woman identified as Liang Yu Chou experienced a terrifying moment while eating a hamburger in front of Sydney Harbour, Australia, when an aggressive seagull lunged directly at her food.
The attack occurred in April 2026 and was captured on video: the bird tried to snatch the hamburger from her face and ended up driving its beak into one of her fingers, causing a painful injury that nearly cost her part of the finger.
Witnesses were shocked by the violence with which the seagull acted, while the woman reacted with screams and desperation as she tried to push it away. The footage quickly went viral on social media.
