A couple’s argument ended in the worst way in Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico, after a woman identified as Mariana Isabel allegedly set her own house on fire during the early hours of March 12, 2026.
According to local media, it all happened in the Los Laureles neighborhood, where the fight escalated until the woman began setting fire to the kitchen and some furniture, while her partner recorded the scene and shouted at her in protest.
Both managed to get out before the flames consumed much of the home, which ended up being a total loss. Firefighters brought the blaze under control, and later authorities detained both people involved to investigate what happened.
